So Im finally back home. My trip was amazing! I think it's time for me to sum up all the best parts and also the not so good ones but that were remarkable.

- waiting for 3 hours for my flight departure at the airport due to the chaos caused by the plane crash.

- when we got at the airport in Rio we walked out of the plane to find ourselves walking in this hallway full of huge pictures  of sports all over the walls and the panamerican games anthem playing as the background music. That just created the perfect vibe for the people who were getting there to watch the games.

- the first night we went to the mall and i swear i've never seen so many athletes at the same place, at the same time. it was like the mall was closed for athletes and people who were part of the Pan committee.

- playing volley at the beach. <3

- being locked outside the house for 2 hours. i swear i didn't realize it took this long! i sang songs in my head - from mcfly to good charlotte, to paramore and to the alphabet song, which btw i sang around 5 times in a row lol - i worked out (yeah i did push ups at my front porch lol), i even fell asleep for a moment.

- having to wait 5 minutes for the people to fix the shower because the hot water wasn't coming out of the pipe. do note that i was IN the shower when the water got cold and half of the family saw me on a towel with shampoo all over my hair, screaming "mom! what happened to the hot water?!?"

- roller skating for effing 6 miles and getting tired as hell! but i must say it felt really good.

- staying in front of the stadium for around 4 hours trying to buy tickets for the volley game because the game was "sold out" and we eventually bought our tickets with a dude on the street! and the seats we got were SO good. :D

- wind! wind all over the place! this night was so windy that it wasnt even funny, i could barely sleep cuz of the noise the wind was making.

- the whole airport chaos part II: the departure was at 5:30 pm. that got delayed and the flight was confirmed for 8:30 pm. then at around 8, the flight got confirmed for 9:30. then we got in the plane at around 9:15 and guess what? the plane only took off at 10:50 (y). Basically I got home only at 2 am.

Well that's pretty much half of it. i mean, if i could i would write everything about every single good thing that happened, but then i'd have to write a book soooo yeah i don't think i'm in the mood. plus all you have to know - and you already do - is that the trip was awesome!

Alright first post. Sweet.

So let me tell ya...today was stressing. VERY stressing. Yesterday there was a plane crash back home and since they closed the airport cuz of the accident, my flight was transferred to the international airport. No problem. Thing is my flight was pretty much 3 hours delayed (y)...no decent food, no comfort, barely no sleep. Bad day.
Well the good news is that I got here [in Rio] safe and healthy. :)
The weather is getting crappy...raining already meh..well according to weather.com things are gonna get kinda better by friday. Hope so!
Looking forward to watching all the sports and all! Ah man Im excited..im such a sports fan and its just so cool to be at the pan american games. :D

Well i should go now...smells good downstairs. FOOD :o
